We’ve all been shoveled the nonsense about people being justified in not heeding any police officer who has less pigment in his skin than they. Believing otherwise is racist. Now, there seems to be a stupidest factor. Asheville’s police department announced its officers will no longer need a college degree. The rationale, evidently, is that nobody has to obey an officer who is more intelligent than they. Somebody on the radio actually said they expected police brutality to increase indirectly as the IQ of officers – well, not in so many words.
If the above statement is wrong, then some hypocrite is saying people of color are not only racist but stupid.
