Last week, Americans for Prosperity NC tapped Roy Cordato’s January report, Liberty and Economic Growth, which outlines tax reform based on principles of economics and individual liberty. It was to be used as background for a TV interview. This week, Cordato received a call from the Competitive Enterprise Institute regarding JLF research on air quality. It seems the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) asked to meet with CEI about ozone levels in western NC and CEI’s Fred Smith turned to JLF for preparation. Cordato provided the group with up-to-date ozone date for 2004 and referred Smith to Joel Schwartz and his JLF-sponsored report, Clearing the Air in North Carolina: Pollution Myths and Realities.
