Troy and Roy both made important appearances this week. Troy delivered a presentation about North Carolina Anti-Federalists at the Asheboro History Forum. He traced the lifeline of Anti-Federalism through society, pausing to stress the importance of its role in the formation of the bill of rights.  While Roy, in an interview with WUNC’s the State of Things, discussed the philosophy of taxation and the role of government with Duke University’s Mike Munger. Then there’s Daren Bakst, who participated in the transportation and land use technical working group meeting for the DENR Climate Action Plan Advisory Group, and George Leef who reviewed Derek Bok’s, Our Underachieving Colleges in the American Enterprise, online.
