When state lawmakers wrapped up their work and headed home for the year, the Fayetteville Observer sought John Locke Foundation President John Hood‘s thoughts about the newly completed legislative session. Both the High Point Enterprise and Wilson Daily Times also interviewed Hood about the General Assembly’s new ban on Internet sweepstakes cafes. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Hood’s column this week on a legislative change that will help North Carolina businesses avoid penalties for violating tax laws that never had been published. Hood’s contributions this week to National Review Online’s primary blog, “The Corner,” attracted attention from TopConservativeBlogs.com, LiberalWhoppers.com, and Welcome2Green.com.
