In addition to her regular appearances on WWNC in Asheville and WTSB in Johnston County, Gray spoke on morning radio programs with Henry Hinton of WTIB and Joe McLaughlin of WRHT. In addition to media appearances, Gray headed to Charlotte for a panel discussion hosted by N.C. Black Engagement. Both the N.C. Spin website and N.C. Senate Republicans promoted Gray’s column on overcriminalization in North Carolina.

Kokai discussed JLF research about the socio-economics of lottery sales during an appearance on Alabama Public Radio. He dissected public policy presentations during a day spent with “Honors Civics and Economics” students at Raleigh Charter High School.
