The New York Times reports that Democrats who voted for Obama’s health care takeover bill may have inadvertently deprived themselves of the Cadillac Congressional health care plan before any other option are available:

For example, it says, the law may “remove members of Congress and Congressional staff” from their current coverage, in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, before any alternatives are available.

The confusion raises the inevitable question: If they did not know exactly what they were doing to themselves, did lawmakers who wrote and passed the bill fully grasp the details of how it would influence the lives of other Americans?

That last is a good question, one that we asked here at Right Angles, and one that the Tea Party activists were asking all last summer and fall. But, nooooooo! Our honorables here in the Triangle, Price, Miller and Etheridge, despite not having read the bill, voted for it anyway.

It would serve them right to now be among the 47 million that liberals claim have no health insurance.
