President Obama’s key adviser, David Axelrod, told Sunday’s “Meet the Press” that voters will come to like the ObamaCare. It’ll just take time, he said. Politico then points out:

President Barack Obama’s signature accomplishment is currently so unpopular with voters that no Democratic candidate is running ads promoting it.

D’oh!

Polls continue to show that anywhere between 55 and 60 percent of Americans oppose the health insurance law — including Rasmussen’s latest poll of North Carolinians. (emphasis is mine)

Fifty-seven percent (57%) of North Carolina voters favor repeal of the new national health care law, while 35% oppose repeal. This includes 43% who Strongly Favor repeal and 24% who are Strongly Opposed. These findings are comparable to voter attitudes nationwide.

But 52% of the state’s voters say repeal of the health care law will be good for the economy.

Among the most egregious components of Mr. Obama’s “reform” is the individual mandate to buy government-approved insurance or face a fine. JLF’s John Hood explains why this is ill-advised public policy.
