A dozen people congregated on the steps of the Haywood County Courthouse to share anecdotes of people dying because they cannot access appropriate healthcare. They cited people having to pay expenses out of pocket and have fundraisers to help each other out as evidence of government failure. Republicans, they said, must stop shutting down the discussions.
