The green federal government is giving six- and seven-digit grants for private jetports. To reiterate comments made earlier today, the government ought to buy us all a private jet and pay for our pilot lessons. They won’t; because all the TSA agents would have to be unemployed, and everybody would fly at their own personal risk, which is not something the government considers practical.

Perhaps the ignorant comments above will be used to justify a $573,278 grant awarded to the Western Carolina Regional Airport in 2007 that “was designed to educate people about the ability for local airports to provide transportation.”
