Last month, 55 people attending a church picnic got food poisoning from eating baked beans prepared by a private caterer.
The caterer is now facing charges…but not for negligence in poisoning the people. He is being charged with “failing to prepare food in a licensed, inspected commercial kitchen before selling it to the churchgoers.”
