Paul, yes, I do think you’ve lost a little touch with their appeal. One’s a partier and the other was voted most likely to end up the front page of Vogue. They have appeal to a lot of different folks and their hamster joke was a riot. (remember that Kerry gave mouth to mouth to his daughter’s hamster, the Bush hamster died, get it?)
I didn’t see the “thud” but it is interesting to hear such a split in the media about how exciting or not their appearance was. Oh, and they haven’t yet appeared in see-through clothing like Kerry’s daughter at the Cannes Festival.
