The fact that the Global TransPark continues to receive funding is absolute nonsense. This Kinston Free Press story includes this ridiculous comment from Sen. Charlie Albertson (D-Duplin).
Albertson said that he still hopes the park can be weaned off of state tax dollars. But he said that he didn’t know when that would occur.
“I think we’ll see some other good things happen in the next few weeks,” he said.
Yeah, right.
