The flier explained the motivation for the event and included a questionnaire with queries such as, “What do you think caused your heterosexuality?” and “If heterosexuality is normal, why are a disproportionate number of mental patients heterosexual?”
Let’s pause to appreciate the total, self-defeating irony of that very labored flier question: “If heterosexuality is normal, why are a disproportionate number of mental patients heterosexual?”
(Answer: Because heterosexuality is so overwhelmingly prevalent ? i.e., normal ? the population from which mental patients can be drawn is far, far, far larger than the corresponding “LGBTIQ” population.)
