They finally cleared the “urban garden” in LA of protestors and Hollywood luminaries. LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa is
criticizing the property owner Ralph Horowitz for not wanting to make a
deal. Horowitz says after the way the protestors and the city have
acted, no way he’s making a deal. And he adds this:

“Where does this kind of ‘you owe me’ mentality end? How good is that
for America? What they should have said to the taxpayers of LA and to
me is, ‘This is a gracious country. Thank you for letting us have our
garden here, but we realize our time is up. We’ve had our 14 years.'”

I like this guy.
