Tony Blankley views Pakistan’s withdrawal from its northern province of Waziristan as a defeat.  Now the Taliban will control this territory.

There is another view.  My nephew, who is a commander of an Apache helicopter company, is in training to go to Afghanistan in January.  He told me six months ago that it was common knowledge that part of his mission would be to defeat the Taliban in Pakistan.  Pakistan’s decision seems to eliminate the sovereignty issue related to American military actions in northern Pakistan.
