A homeowner in a Denver subdivision was threatened with a fine for having a Christmas wreath shaped like the peace sign. Lisa Jenson told The Associated Press:
?It seems whenever someone tries to say ?Peace on
Earth? it is met with so much resistance,? she said. ?The incredible
amount of support we have received over the last couple of days really
is proof to us of how many people believe in peace and in our right to
say it.?
Now, I agree this was nothing for the homeowners association to get all het up about, but Jenson should know that most folks agree with Hank Hill, who famously told his dad on one episode that there are different kinds of peace: “Dad, it’s Jesus peace, not hippie peace.”
