My online subscription to Sp!ked today contained a really good discussion by Kirk Leech of the controversial New Yorker magazine that featured a Muslim-looking Obama and an Angela Davis-looking Mrs. Obama on its recent cover. Not only was the discussion of the cover quite good, the author has captured some important feature of the (long) article in the Sp!ked review. I recommend reading the article, if you can, as it amply illustrates the reviewer’s claims. I am grateful to to the New Yorker for either finding me a replacement copy when the original went astray in the mail, or for figuring out who was holding it up en route. Apparently that edition is no longer available (E-Bay, anyone)? Worth a look.
