Congressman Charles Rangel (D, NY) is being criticized for losing track of and then suddenly finding $780,000 in assets.  But I think the criticism, much like the 780 grand, is misplaced. Just think of how easy it is to lose things when there is just one of them. For example, I lose, and then find my keys all the time. The same goes for my sunglasses. Just think if any of us had 780,000 sets of key or pairs of sunglasses to keep track of. It would be very, very difficult. Heck I think I’d find it impossible. So we need to put Congressman Rangel’s problem in context and give him a break.
