Greensboro Mayor Robbie Perkins’ estranged wife is seeking to hold him in contempt of court for failing to pay child and spousal support.
Perkins has been ordered to appear in court in April to answer the contempt of court allegation:
The contempt of court motion claims he owes $17,356 for back child support, and monthly post-separation and child support for the month of March. However, both Robbie and Carole Perkins said Tuesday that the amount in dispute is for the mortgage payments on the couple’s house.
“I didn’t pay it because I shouldn’t have to pay money on a house that is in default,” he said.
Remember this is the man with grand visions for our city —all with our tax dollars.
