Seasonally adjusted unemployment rates released last week, showed NC’s May 2013 unemployment rate is now 8.8%, a slight improvement over April’s numbers (8.9%) Looking back to this time last year however, may show a glimmer of hope – May 2012’s unemployment was at 9.5%.
