Economist John Goodman, who specializes in the economics of health care, writes here that Obamacare was sold to the people based on deceptions.
The only point with which I’d take issue is the idea that Obamacare was ever really sold to the people at all. It was rammed through Congress with no opportunity for debate, much less any national debate. Nevertheless, the glittering claims made for this gargantuan expansion of federal power would have made the sale fraudulent if it were a product sold by any company.
