Tonight the Greensboro City Council will again take up proposals to refurbish the rundown Bessemer Shopping Center.
Remember the last time the council took the issue up things got –shall we say —interesting.
Also on the agenda —authorizing City Attorney Mujeeb Shah-Khan to proceed with acquiring the downtown former Cascade Saloon building via eminent domain. The city has announced it will spend $700k to fix up the building once it is acquired.
