ASHEVILLE – The Office of Sustainability invites you to celebrate LED streetlight installation in the Kenilworth neighborhood by writing an LED streetlight inspired haiku poem. Haiku poems are three lines where the first line contains 5 syllables, the second line contains 7 syllables, and the third line contains 5 syllables, for a total of 17 syllables. Haiku poems do not rhyme.

Email your LED haiku poem to the city’s Sustainablity Office at [email protected]. Creative haiku entries will be posted on the City of Asheville’s blog and Facebook pages.
