WWNC drive-time host Pete Kaliner is now talking about news breaking from WRAL about 761 North Carolinians who voted in the last presidential election who shared the same first name, last name, birthdate, and last four digits of their Social Security number with people who voted in the 2012 election in other states. Some states do not collect Social Security information. There were only 35,570 instances of people with the same names and birthdate voting in North Carolina and these states. To boot, 40-50 people managed to vote posthumously.
