Item: A 60-year-old accused rapist gets a $5000 bond from Judge Miller even though prosecutors cited an extreme flight risk in the case.

Judge Miller even refused to place an electronic monitor on Roger Dale Honeycutt, who is accused of entering a home on Eastway Drive in 1981 and raping a pregnant woman. New DNA evidence resurrected the cold case several weeks ago. Honeycutt was initially held on $150,000 bond. Until Judge Rocket-Scientist lowered it by 97 percent on Friday.

Honeycutt made bail the same day after spending 11 days in the Mecklenburg County jail.
