Got an e-mail from Time Warner last week with this offer: “Add Time Warner Cable Sports Pass to your account by April 28th and get tickets to the May 18th All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway — PLUS an invitation to a special pre-party featuring Kasey Kahne with a live musical performance from Gavin DeGraw.”
And yes, there’s fine print, but leaving that aside, when Time-Warner is offering All-Star race tickets and other stuff just for signing up for another tier of sports coverage, it suggests that NASCAR All-=Star race tickets can be had dirty cheap in bulk. Which isn’t exactly a positive sign for NASCAR in general or the All-Star race in particular…
