Matthew Eisley’s April 1 News & Observer column (note the date) includes the following quote:
“Sure, the Archdale looms like a tombstone over downtown,” said Oui Gno
Bedder, commissar of the Committee to Regulate Urban Design. “But we
must embrace the unsightly! Plus, it makes the Legislative Building
look handsome.”
Mr. Bedder might not exist, but I’m sure Michael Sanera could find his functional equivalent in the real world.
