The Left likes to cast venture capitalists as dastardly rich people who engage in capitalism that hurts others and unfairly brings wealth to the rich investors. Not so, of course. Venture capitalists are engines of economic growth, which leads not only to return on investment, but in marketplace innovations and the hiring of employees to produce, market, and sell the products and services.
