Three Democrats in North Carolina voted against the ObamaCare bill that was rammed through the House on Sunday. They are Mike McIntyre of Dist. 7, Larry Kissell of Dist. 8, and Heath Shuler of Dist. 11.

The question that voters in these three districts need to answer for themselves: Did they vote against ObamaCare because they are Democrats in conservative-leaning districts and Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave them a pass because of their electoral vulnerability, or did they sincerely oppose the bill on its merits?

All five other North Carolina Democrats, each in safer districts, voted for the bill. They are G.K. Butterfield, Dist. 1; Bob Etheridge, Dist. 2; David Price, Dist. 4; Mel Watt, Dist. 12; and Brad Miller, Dist. 13.
