Brianna Kraemer is a Public Policy Reporter for the Carolina Journal, focusing on the General Assembly.

She previously served as a staff writer for Convention of States Action where she wrote on the significant role the states play in limiting the power of the federal government. Brianna spent time in the nation’s capital writing for the publication Just the News and also experienced the day-to-day functions of Capitol Hill while interning in the U.S. Senate. She went on to serve in a communications role on a U.S. Senate campaign in Ohio. Her writing has been featured in The Daily CallerWashington Examiner, Yahoo NewsThe Center Square, and The College Fix.

Brianna is an alumnus of The College Fix journalism fellowship and the COS Emerging Leaders Program, two experiences that cultivated her skills in writing, critical thinking, and servant leadership. She is currently part of the E.A. Morris Fellowship for emerging leaders. She graduated from the University of Colorado where she studied media communications, political science, and Spanish.
