In two separate articles this morning the Washington Times illustrates how much the foolishness in the nation’s capital has gotten out of hand. The first shows how ridiculous the new campaign finance laws have become. The second explains how Democrats are trying to pass themselves off as the party of fiscal responsibility.
And of course the problem isn’t excessive spending, if you ask Wisconsin Democrat Sen. Russ Feingold:
“The issue is certain Republicans are so addicted to tax cuts that they don’t want to play by the rules.”
