Of cities with better roads than Charlotte.
I know it wasn’t always so — Charleston went through a recent road and bridge building spurt to the point where you can zip in and around the city pretty quickly. Rush hour up and down I-26 remains a challenge, however.
Still, overall much, much better than Charlotte. In fact, in the past two years of road travel from Canada to Orlando and many points in between, I’ve yet to find a city of similar size that has roads as deficient as those of the Queen City.
Maybe I’m just lucky that way. But I seriously doubt it.
