I’m with Jon on the awaiting the queue of people waiting to blame the storm off the NC coast on Global Warming. Of worth, even the weather channel didn’t treat the storm as tropical because of the sea surface temperatures (at least right now). As such the storm, should it strengthen, will become “extra-tropical” which is what summer storms become in the waters of the northern Atlantic during Hurricane Season.
Hurricane season begins on June 1. But surely some of the zealots will climb aboard thinking this is about warming when it is more likely due to “cool” sea temperatures. Very chilly for May!!!
