Meck Deck shares his adventures in garbage. Now I’ll share mine.
For starters, I’m bummed my garbage pick up changed from Thursday to Monday. I personally liked clearing out the debris that builds up over the course of a stressful week just in time for the weekend. Clearing out the debris from a stressful week and an exciting weekend could prove to be too much.
We were also special here in tony Fisher Park for a long time because we got our recycling picked up every week. Now I’m on the so-called Blue Week, which could be a problem, just like it is down in Charlotte.
I also live on a one-way street, which —as I understood it, use of green and brown bins because the truck would have to drive the wrong way to pick up cans on the other side. But today the city delivered two brand-new green and brown bins. My street’s also very narrow, with a lot of on street parking. So next Monday morning should be very interesting.
