Former John Edwards aide Andrew Young testifies he has turned over all copies of a sex tape (gross) featuring the former senator and a pregnant mistress (gross).

Young was grilled by Rielle Hunter’s attorneys:

Hunter, who was said to be “available if needed” by the court, did not make an appearance at Wednesday’s hearing.

It sometimes seemed as if her legal team was trying to do what it could to preserve her tattered reputation.

After Young made a reference during his testimony to the “John Edwards sex tape,” Alan Duncan, one of Hunter’s lawyers, attempted to correct him.

“You mean, what, for the purpose of this hearing, we’re referring to as the tape of a personal nature,” Duncan asked.

Duncan is chairman of the Guilford County Board of Education, which I’ve mercilessly criticized for being pretty clueless. He’s a pretty good chairman on the whole, but I sometimes wonder if he spreads himself too thin. Duncan says he hasn’t filed for re-election to yet because he’s been to busy.
