We used to drive through Altamont Pass pretty regularly during our Year of Exile in California (we later qualified for political asylum in Louisiana). Not only are the windmills big, there’s a bunch of ’em.
So your aviary would have to cover a couple of hundred acres at least. Kind of takes the economy out of all that free wind.
