The mayor of Atlantic City has gone missing after it was discovered he made false claims about his Vietnam service. I think Rush Limbaugh would call him one of the “phony soldiers,” meaning soldiers who either lie about having been in the service or exaggerate their awards for valor. Democratic Sen. Tom Harkin would fall into this category.
Anyhoo, guess what’s missing from the story. Yes, again (sigh) the man’s membership in the Democratic Party goes unmentioned. As noted below in two other instance where Democratic connections are either omitted or buried when Dems get in trouble, this is so predictable it’s laughable.
