Another US carrier begins flights to Peru

And it’s JetBlue, not US Airways. Peru is the most accessible of the larger South American markets: it’s had an open skies treaty with the U.S.for over a decade now and it’s close enough that a widebody isn’t needed to fly there from Charlotte. Despite that, US Airways has chosen not to begin Lima flights. Does the coming merger change things? Time will tell…
