Appeals court dimisses separate appeals from Asheville, state department

The latest batch of opinions from the N.C. Court of Appeals this morning includes dismissals of two appeals filed by government entities.

One ruling dismisses Asheville’s appeal in an airport contract dispute. The other dismisses an appeal from the N.C. Department of Crime Control and Public Safety in a civil rights suit filed in connection with a Highway Patrol trooper’s actions during an arrest.
