I’ve heard two applause lines today at the NCCLC. One was after Durham black Republican activist Victoria Peterson bemoaned the fact that conservatives can find the time to call radio talk shows but they won’t “get out in the trenches” to combat the powerful local coalition of white and black liberals in Durham.
The other applause line was by N.C. Listen director Ron Woodard, who said we need to make English the official language of North Carolina.
