Unfortunately, I missed the Geraldo Rivera special the ARC of Orange County was encouraging everyone to watch last weekend. The group’s point, however, is well taken about the needs of the most vulnerable in our society. Sad to say that we spend lots of dollars on the middle class, while the truly vulnerable are not given the assistance they need and deserve.
North Carolina could make a great step forward in this area by addressing the issue of educational quality for kids with special needs.
