As North Carolina works on a regulatory framework surrounding hydraulic fracturing – fracking as it’s known – the federal government is moving as well. And that has some members of Congress worried that HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and the Centers for Disease Control will use their power to outlaw fracking in the name of public health.
Here is the letter sent to Sebelius by the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
