The free spirits in the Colorado town of Ridgway want to force people to vote. No kidding. Evidently these folks are big supporters of freedom — as long as you agree with their priorities. The guy behind the effort thinks forcing people to vote qualifies as a “great civics lesson in representative democracy.”
Hey, why not force people to vote? We’re already forcing people to help fund the election campaigns of candidates they oppose, vehemently disagree with, and would never vote for.
