I held off on giving a big ups to Tara Servatius moving to do radio full-time, taking over the nightly 9pm-12am slot on WBT, because I knew there was more to the story.
With Tara moving to weeknights, space ipso facto had to open up in her old Sunday slot. How would that space be filled?
Well, according to source close to the situation, WBT will soon announce that the new Sunday line-up will feature a one-hour show hosted by ace WBT reporter Pete Kaliner. The will give Kaliner a chance to provide a more in-depth look at local, state, and national issues.
Now think about how great it is to have two of Charlotte’s best reporters with massive platforms to dish on local issues — in particular — that the Uptown crowd would prefer no one talk about.
