U.S. Rep. David Price voted against the use of military tribunals for illegal combatant terrorist. I never saw that one coming. Price has a divinity degree, so maybe he’s sincere about it. I’m sure he’d never vote to be soft on terrorists just for political reasons.

Strangely, though, two liberal Democrats who did vote for tribunals happen to be running for the U.S. Senate in Red States (Harold Ford in Tennessee and Sherrod Brown in Ohio). But I’m sure they didn’t vote against most of their party counterparts for political reasons either.
