Here we go again. Unemployment rates keep plunging. Never mind those numbers. We can find a bracket in which they do actually get smaller, be it ten days or ten years. One reason you might think unemployment is a problem is the number of jobs keeps bludgeoning, but it can’t keep pace with the growing population. The population, of course, grows because tourism agencies are partnering overtime with urban planners to placemake in your community. Forget about defining a job as forty hours a week with benefits. Now jobs can be as simple as 8-11 hours a week. Whereas I had one job before, I now have three, and I’m earning half as much. Therefore, I can feel less greedy as I soak up money from concerned friends and family members. Everything is fine. Go elect representatives adept at squandering “free” money at every opportunity, and consider ruining yourself financially, too, while you’re at it.
