I know, I know— second Atlanta post within the within the week, but this is Braves country. News breaks that the team is abandoning 16-year-old Turner Field for —gasp —- the Cobb County suburbs.
Further proves the point that the shelf lives of stadiums and arenas just isn’t what it used to be. I also can’t help but wonder if this signals a reversal of the downtown stadium trend.
