Brocker: You’ve known for many years that male DNA found on an alleged rape victim is exculpatory. Points out he has dismissed charges in the past under just those circumstances, i.e., the finding of male DNA on the alleged victim.

Nifong: Sure he has done that in cases where it was appropriate to do that.

Brocker gives a document to Nifong and to Williamson. Says he allows questions regarding the document. It’s a dismissal form for a man facing three exact same charges as the Duke lacrosse players. Nifong: Quibbles about the number of charges.

Brocker: You signed these dismissal forms for the reason that there was no male DNA to match the accused and that there was other male DNA found. Nifong: Doesn’t recall the case.

Williamson: in interest of moving this along, let’s move on.
