Allah at HotAir.com says N.C. Sen. Richard Burr has decided to vote for cloture on the immigration bill (meaning he wants it brought up, voted on and passed). Allah also links to another blogger who says Burr’s staff is lying to constiutents who call (language warning if you follow that link from HotAir). My wife called Burr’s office today and said they were cordial and just said, after she gave her spiel, that they would pass the information along. So, no lying there.

Voting for cloture would represent a switch for Burr who, on June 7, voted against ending debate on the immigration bill. He cited at the time the lack of time to amend the bill. Apparently he feels there has been ample time to do that since.
