At the same time that Bush is building bridges to groups on the
Right by trying to convince them that he is really for smaller
government, his bureaucrats at OMB undercut his efforts. OMB has
launched a web site called, believe it or not, ExpectMore.gov. That’s
no suprise to us. We knew all along to expect more
government.
Here is the official notice:

OMB to Launch New Website – “ExpectMore.gov”
On February 6, 2006, the President’s Office of Management and Budget
(OMB) will launch a new public web site called “ExpectMore.gov” that
summarizes performance assessments for over 800 Federal programs using
OMB’s Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART). Sharing these
assessments with the public is expected to motivate agencies to
continue increasing the effectiveness of programs and focusing budget
requests on producing meaningful results for the taxpayer.
